At Liberty, we believe that the Bible is God breathed and is His revealed truth. The Word of God is one of His greatest gifts to us. It is divinely inspired, relevant, applicable, perfect, comforting, and challenging. It serves as our guide to how we should live our lives, lead our families, and participate in His church. At Liberty, we want to help you, as we help ourselves, to move away from the works of the flesh and work toward the works of the Spirit, those being, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22) We believe in salvation through a faith in Jesus Christ and that faith comes through us hearing the Word of God through study and worship. (Romans 10:17) After hearing the Holy Word, and the gospel of Jesus Christ, one must believe in the truth of that Word and gospel. (Mark 16:16) After hearing the Word and believing it is true, one must repent from their former sinful lifestyle that separates them from God, (Luke 13:3), admitting that we are sinners but confessing in our faith and belief in Jesus Christ. (Matthew 10:16) At Liberty, we believe in the power of baptism and that it is necessary for the remission of sins, (Acts 2:38) and to live as best we can a faithful Christian lifestyle.
