And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

God uses all things for the good. We all have struggles in life. We will all have times in life that are seemingly impossible to make it through. However, for those who remain and abide in Him, we can have confidence that God is using whatever hardship or struggle we are facing to prepare us for the next Good Work which He has already prepared for us.

God can do the impossible. He can take the ultimate terrible thing, the death of His own Son on the cross, and turn it into the most incredible goodness that the world has ever known, life eternal. Forgiveness of sins. Ultimate and complete redemption.

God uses all things for the good to those who love God.

If we do not love God, then the sacrifice that His Son made for us is useless, but if we DO love Him, then it means EVERYTHING to us, and we know that if we truly love Him, we will do what He tells us to do. John 14:15

It is not meant for us to understand everything. It is just meant for us to do what we are supposed to do. This is the way God has designed it. We were made by Him to live for Him.

For we are His workmanship. (Eph 2:10a) God made us. He created us. He sustains our life for as long as He sees fit. He created us in His Image, when He had no obligation to do so.

Created in Christ Jesus for good works. (Eph 2:10b) We were created to carry out good works in the name of Jesus Christ His Son. Jesus Himself is the epitome of good works. He is the ultimate example of perfectness, selflessness, and righteousness. As His disciples, we are to constantly compare ourselves to Him, knowing that we can always be better, do more, serve more.

Which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph 2:10c) God has made certain that we would have plenty to do in life for Him. He, who knows everything, every hair of our head, knew us since before we were created in the womb, knows how long we will be alive on this earth, knows all our strengths and weaknesses, knows what we can do. He has created good works for us to carry out in the name of His Son for all our lives, and we’ll not get them all done. We can always do more, always improve, always do better. He has given us a job to do so that we can walk in HIM, and not after the evil one.

God does not set us up for failure, but for complete success.

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 1 Thess 5:9-10

Because of Christ, if we choose Him, we will not face wrath, face death, face damnation. Instead, we will receive salvation, life, peace, paradise, Heaven.

This is what God is preparing us for. Life is our test. Do we live for Him? Do we live WITH Him? That is how we pass the test.

So during a busy week, walk with Him, and get through life, and let’s find some good works to do, a few more than we did yesterday. If you need help, let us know. We would love to help.
